Arizona Garden at Stanford, Stanford, California.

We like going here whenever we go to the Cantor Museum -- it's about a five minute walk from there. The garden isn't huge, but you can send 15 to 30 minutes enjoying the large variety of cactus and succulents and their interesting shapes. The garden looks different at various times of year, and we've never regretted stopping by. If you're lucky enough to be there when things are blooming, you're in for a treat.

Lots of interesting stuff in the inexplicably huge unused land areas owned by Stanford. There is a formal garden and cactus pods, and another area of just overgrown sparse forest which is beautiful to walk around in; and maybe you'll see the wild rabbits.
